Bio
I became a member of Halton Credit Union 15 years ago when I worked for Halton CU Forum on a Corporate Appointee Project funded by Halton Borough Council and I have been a Director for 15 years. Currently I work for the NHS at Warrington and Halton Hospitals. Pre 2000 I was a Civil Servant for seven years working in Manchester for Sector Fraud and then in Widnes helping benefit claimants maximise their benefits.
I have developed and enhanced many skills during my working life, these include good attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life in a non-judgemental way.
I believe in developing the Governance of Halton Credit Union in a positive and constructive way.
